The Chapultepec Zoo

Perhaps it's best not to jump for joy yet, but we seem to have internet at the house again.

I spent the last week working & wandering around a few different parts of the city between classes.

On a Sunday, why not visit the Chapultepec Zoo? It still amazes me that entry is free! I never imagined such a thing could exist.

I saw (and was pushed by) more people than actual animals. There were lots of animals, but they're pretty much the same as the animals you see in zoos all across the globe.

Special animals housed there were a few different types of pandas, the Mexican grey wolf, and a hairless dog called a Xoloitzcuintle.

This curious birdie lives there too.

Good to see, but W A Y too crowded. Usually Sundays are 'free admission' days at museums, but everyday at the zoo is free and it was still nuts.

Several slices of colour on the way home.
