Polanco is an affluent neighbourhood where the streets are named after writers and philosophers. It's the land of embassies and gated- and electric-fenced homes.
I'm in the neighbourhood Monday to Friday teaching classes.
This mall includes the city's "smartest chain" el Palacio de Hierro.
I also checked out the (art) Gallery Juan Martin. Upon arrival I realized that the Lourdes Sosa gallery was closed, and that the Museo Sala de Arte Publico David Alfaro Siqueiros was under rennovation.
Calle Presidente Masaryk is Polanco's 5th Avenue with stores like Tiffany and Louis Vuitton for those in need.
After my early evening class the bus is always too full, so I opt to walk the 25 min or so to the metro station.
Sometimes it must be a pain to have long breaks between classes but you've used the time well!
